here i lay,

alone and cold,

along this floor

thats made of stone

here i am,

i say to you,

three simple words,

that you abused.

here i look,

at memories,

through the years,

of you and me.

there you are,

flying high,

through those brightly

colored skys

there you walk

right past me

as if I'm the stone

beneath your feet

here i am 

with tear filled eyes

looking down 

at you and i

here i lay 

with you sweatshirt on

hoping the old love

will keep me warm

with a broken heart

that will not heal

because it broke apart

I could feel the heartbreak throughout every line in this poem. You portrayed the emotion well and you made an amazing poem out of it. I'm sorry if you are suffering through heartbreak! that is an awful pain (trust me I know it well) I hope you can get through it and find someone out there that'll care for you and only you.
