There is a hole, where my heart once beat!

my body shivers from cold

as my heart bleeds from my mistakes.

my stomach feels sick

as im lying alone, once again.

i keep telling myself i am over you

that we are done.

but.....are we?

i dont want us to be

 my body keeps telling me lies

like i can't take another risk like you,

that i am not strong enough to heal this gapping hole

the hole in my chest, where my heart once beat.

But i dont think i am strong enough,

to live without your presence by my side,

without your arms around me

without your beating heart insink with mine.

everyone thinks i am over you.

everyone thinks i am strong

everyone thinks i dont care for you anymore

but everyone is so very wrong.

im dieing here alone.

but no one will ever know

that there is a hole 

where my heart once beat

The reality of love pulsates in this one. When a heart breaks, it indeed take much more time to heal or refill, than more who are on the outside of a situation, looking in, have any clue about.
