This is what i live for!

theres one thing i live for,

its not love

its not family

its not friends

its... the love of the game

together of apart 

we were friends from the start

through softball we spoke

connected by the heart

the screams of the fans

the smoke we breathed in

the ketchup and dirt stains

those were the games

the wins or the loses 

it never mattered to me.

The homeruns and the fun times

that was true victory

so if someone asked me , what is your dream

i would answer very quickly and say

"i dream what any young athlete dreams..  

to be the best athlete that i can be!"

i do not live for family or friends

i live to be playing

and ill play....

right to the very end.

ever since i was very young , me and my best friend were head over heals for softball........ its in our blood, and i cant live with out it.

my bestie and softball,....thats what keeps me goin<3

This is a beautiful and fantastic poem. the flow is seriously amazing. There are two people in my life and they both are my best friends and they keep me going.
