Something I wrote off the top of my head, just how I feel.

There is a hole in my heart

A distance in our love

We're separated by miles of land and water

And though you are so far

You feel so close to me tonight

I wish you were here

To hold me close and not let go

I don't want to be here in this bed

No, not in this bed without you in it too

I long to feel your touch

A brush of your kiss on my lips

I long for the day when I won't be so far from you

Tears fall down my face

But even still my heart beats a tune
