![]() Chapter 1: New Places, Different Faces.A Chapter by Ana:D![]() :D its Chase.![]() Hannah walked straight into her cousin’s house without knocking. She was never one for privacy or secrets. She kept them herself but in a way she was a hypocrite for doing so. “Hello! I’m here!” she shouted. “Cousin!” Came the childlike 15 year old. “Oh boy!” Hannah shouted. “Oh, Hannah dear. You’re bedroom is ready, here let me show you.” Aunt Mae said. Her parents decided to send Hannah to another school to give her another chance. She was trouble backwards and forwards. But I guess trouble runs in the family. “Sonny, give that back!” Hannah shouted hitting Sonny upside the head with her sketchbook. “Why didn’t you let me see these before?” Sonny pouted. “Because I didn’t live here.” Hannah said unpacking her clothes. “So you’re going to live here for a while huh?” Sonny smirked. “Yeah, I guess.” She shrugged. “You have to meet all my friends, and my pet.” “You have a pet?” Hannah said. “Well, it’s not exactly alive.” Sonny said sadly. “As I thought.” “But Ruffles will be excited to meet you in the after life.” Sonny smiled. “I’m sure.” She said walking past him. First days of school are a drag. Especially if it’s basically in the middle of the year. Teachers were annoying and so were people. Hannah preferred to sit by herself and draw. She was a bit antisocial. But hey, put a girl in a new place she probably becomes reserved to herself. And her cousin Sonny wasn’t exactly her favorite person in the world. Hannah got dressed, did her hair, and walked out. Sonny was already at school because she wasn’t his favorite person either. “Locker 21353534543646.” Hannah exaggerated to herself. “They put me all the way at the other side of the school!” Hannah said when she saw the dented, beat up, piece of crap they gave her for a locker. She found her first class and sat at the very back so no one would notice her. She pulled out her sketch pad and began drawing random shapes. After awhile she fell asleep. “Ms. Bearings, no sleeping.” She was woken up by the voice of her teacher. “Oh, I wasn’t sleeping I was just, um, examining the desk very closely.” She responded. “Well, we have the janitor for that. Anyways, homework over the last two chapters.” The teacher said just as the bell rang. Hannah didn’t catch her name so she saluted her on the way out of the class. It’s not that Hannah didn’t want friends. She just didn’t know how to have them. She was always moving around and she never staid in one place. After a painfully long day at school, Hannah walked into her new residence to find music, loud music shaking the house. Obviously, her aunt and uncle weren’t home. “Sonny! Sonny! SONNY!” she screeched. “Oh, Sonny has a girl in the house!!” She heard someone scream. “Dude, that’s my cousin.” He said before appearing from the basement. “Can you shut that up.” She asked. “No, it’s my band practice.” He pouted. “I have a migraine.” She pouted in return. “Fine, but tomorrow you’re going to have to get use to it.” Sonny said walking back down to tell the boys the bad news. “Aw, Sonny, please, I don’t care about you’re cousin’s PMS problems!” A voice said. “I’m not PMSing.” Hannah shouted down the stairs. “Wow.” Sonny’s voice said, “I think she’s Hannah walked up to her room. She wasn’t in the mood to deal with anyone. She was frustrated. She wasn’t good at school, making friends, or even communicating with family. She had no idea how to maintain a relationship and she had trust issues. Trevor walked home with his brother because his band practice was ruined. Sonny’s stupid cousin didn’t have a good taste in music and obviously sound tolerance. He knew he wasn’t going to like her. “Trevor, do you think that penguins were supposed to fly?” Alex asked. “What?” Trevor said looking at his mentally insecure brother. “Nevermind. It’s just you’ve been bummed about Molly.” He said looking at him. “Aw, my little brother cares about me.” Trevor said smiling at him. “Well, every man has a Molly.” His brother reminded him. “Molly, she was something.” Trevor said reminiscing. “Oh, no you got you’re moppy face on.” Alex said. “Molly.” Trevor said frowning. “Cheer up, uh oh.” Alex said looking at the girl that was sitting on their driveway. “Molly?” Trevor said running towards her. “I wanted to give you some stuff you left at my house.” She said handing him a box. “Oh, so this is for real.” He said looking into her hazel eyes. “Yeah, goodbye.” She said waving. Trevor stared after her as she got into her car and drove off to her house. Who knew that goodbye would become their new favorite phrase.
