For if thine steps

For if thine steps

A Poem by DyKo

For if thine steps

Sing woeful sounds

To the heart of nights,

Then find not shelter

nor hearth within

The wayward halls.

Along silent mist and

Boastful rain

Stand and wait your turn,

For you alone stand to

Gain all for less

Or none for all

Now my turn to

Walk the halls of

Thought bound eyes,

And hear the sights

Of nervermore cross

Before outstretched hands.

In times of dark and

Light alike we

Find our paths cross.

What ill played lives

Dance a tune to

Which the strings are tied.

I dare not think

To say to you

And you to say to I

That time in which

We lives our lives is

Slowly passing by
