What is Life?

But a single spark in a darkened sky

The words of so many become the ink for so few

The lives of many wasted

The spark snuffed out in a second

And now the sky is darkening

The light is fading and becoming dim

Until almost nothing is left

 

But Love.

Love is not a spark

But a light that reaches out into the souls of the lost

Without it so many will fail and fall

Lost amongst the sparks that slowly dim and disappear

But Love will outlast even the longest of sparks

Until the darkened sky becomes the blue sky

In which birds sing and trees sway

The Love brings people together

And creates Life.
