Splash New Colour

Splash New Colour

A Poem by J Harding
"

Hopefully each and every one of us have had someone in their lives that have made them feel like this, whether it be family, friends or a lover.

"
We splash new colour where we tread,
Playtime's not over yet my friend.
Together we end up forgetting,
To remember all of our worries.

Every smile, glance and laugh,
Reminds us each to always dance.
Our simple actions make way to song,
Don't forget to sing along.

Our silly faces become portraits,
Each worthless yet priceless.
We smile with all we've got,
Mouths, eyes, hearts and souls.

And quite the inspiring poem as well! Good to see the breadth of range that your writing possesses. And yes, thanks, I have had moments such as this in life... etched in my memory and now immortalised in your poem. Cheers.
