When daylight dies

When daylight dies

A Poem by James L.
"

A poem describing events that take place at night. Hope you enjoy!

"

When daylight dies

people are asleep, and mind won't void

for great and scarry worlds are created with dark or holy perfection

while the land awaits the sun in neglection

When daylight dies

the fire lights the ways to the heavens

ascending like dancing angels to the sky

with colors beautiful, and bright

When daylight dies

armored statues carry sharp death with torches

thousands of them screem and dance in a morbid way

as they take their last breath

dark green grass stains red

do to their bloody romance

When daylight dies

God strikes the earth from the clouds of fricksion

light and power flashes in a dark but wonderous dipcition

When daylight dies

a beautiful bright globe in the sky apears for wolves to howl at

the windows to their souls glow

so they can see their world with brave and strong hearts

The night will die

as it gives birth to a new day

I like how this poem paints a picture for the audience. I like how you point out that the night is just a way to a new beginning. How we might think there's no hope yet, when hope is just around the corner. Good descriptions! Good write!
