A poem written in my grade 12 year while my AP English teacher was reading us something.

Hush, hush my dear sweet child.

Calm your racing heart,

Stifle your melancholic weeping.

The moon is calling you

While her star children play.

Close your eyes my sweet

And dream an innocent dream.
