A Time of Spring

A Time of Spring

A Poem by Xander West

A Time of Spring

Spring wind blowing through my hair,

Warm sun shining upon my shoulders,

Passions growing in the gentle air,

Snow-capped mountains raising near,

Trees budding green and vibrant,

Sweet thoughts of my angelic dear,

Birds whistling as they dance above,

Flowers blooming in all directions,

A time to succumb to a growing love,

Wind whisper her name in the trees,

Her beauty in all the spring's joys,

In each wonder her smile is all I see,

A time to forget the wintery past,

A time to enjoy the warmth of life,

A time to truly love has come at last.
