Thankful

Thankful 

As I watch the snow flutter to the ground, 

I wonder where ever you could possibly be, 

Admiring the perfection of every snow flake, 

As each one falls, it's in you I've come to believe, 

I'm thankful for all the wonders you've blessed, 

Thankful for all your wonderful smiles I've witnessed, 

Thankful for precious memories we shared, 

Thankful for everything we ever experienced.  

As I watch the warm sun come out shining, 

I wonder how you could ever come to love me, 

Admiring the joy of children laughing in the snow, 

As I hear laughter, it's in you I've come to believe. 

I'm thankful for all the years you were by side, 

Thankful for every tear we cried holding each other, 

Thankful for every morning and sunrise,  

Thankful for every moment we had we one another. 

 I'm so thankful for all we ever had, 

Thankful for all the times,

I smiled knowing you were mine, 

Memories lasting a lifetime . 

For it doesn't matter where you may be, 

You will forever be with me, 

In you i have come to believe, 

Even if we were never meant to be.
