Bow to Lake Tahoe

Bow to Lake Tahoe

A Poem by Xander West

Bow to Lake Tahoe

Waters so clear you could see until tomorrow

The shade of blue so perfect healing all sorrow,

Capped by snow-covered mountains soaring high,

Such beauty untold unless seen by your own eye,

Rolling hills covered in trees in every shade of green,

Such magnificence rarely has my traveled soul seen,

A land enchanted by the gods soaring high above,

As if this the place they came down to make passionate love,

The trees appear as precious emeralds glimmering,

Mountains' reflections in the slight wake ever shimmering,

To stand before such creations is truly a blessed day,

I bow to allurement of stunning Lake Tahoe I must say,

Each moment here heals an aching broken soul,

Such beautiful surroundings surely making us once again whole.
