Never a Good Bye

Never a Good Bye

A Poem by Xander West

Never a Good Bye

Time runs short,

Hearts long for more,

Tears are held back,

As he walks through the door.

Hugs held a little longer,

Kisses tend to be sweeter,

Hearts ache as we let go,

Loving tears fall from her.

Yet this isn't the end.

Never a good bye,

Our lips will touch again,

This is no reason to cry.

Days will surely pass,

Months will slip by,

My heart will hold tight,

No love truly dies.

Dreams will keep us warm,

Throughout the cold nights,

Memories will be treasured,

As we hold on forever so tight.

Yet this isn't the end,

Never a good bye,

Our lips will touch again,

This is no reason to cry.

Time runs short,

Hearts long for more,

Tears are held back,

As he walks in through the door.

Hugs held a little longer,

Kisses tend to be sweeter,

Hearts pound as we reunite,

Loving tears fall from her.

Yet this isn't the end,

Never a good bye,

Our lips will touch again,

No reason to cry.
