I Miss

I Miss

A Poem by Xander West

I Miss

I miss the scent of your sweet perfume,

Floating through the summer breeze,

I miss the sound of your alluring voice,

How I hang on every syllable such a tease,

I miss your eyes staring fondly upon me,

Even when you think it safe and I cannot see,

I miss mischief reflecting in your eyes of my smile,

I miss how our lips lingers after a kiss a while,

I miss hearing your thoughts on the day,

Simply things that no one thinks to ever say,

I miss you not one but in every single way,

I miss how we tease each other and horseplay,

I miss the way you smile calling me a sweet brat,

Alas we know I'm sweet & innocent such is a fact,

I miss you My love, I miss whispering your name,

Such is so and no other woman could ever claim,

I miss you in such depth words could never express,

But borne from love my words attempt none the less,

I miss you each moment that passes my longing soul,

I miss the love of you that can only make me whole.
