A Flower of Love

A Flower of Love

A Poem by Xander West

A Flower of Love
Love and affection pour into the foundation,
Hands cultivating the soil's budding sensation,
Days upon days awaiting the slightest growth,
Basking in sunshine and Passion needing both,
Sweetest touches leading to healthy stalks,
Eager caresses budding from lengthy talks,
Vines reaching ever higher to heavens far above,
Budding flowers of the deepest colors of love,
Basking under warm sweet eternal sunshine,
Flowers groomed in the Love of a lifetime,
To walk among gardens of our beauty's design,
To treasure such love I'm lucky to call mine.
