Life as I See It

Life as I See It

A Poem by Xander West

This is from I was 17....still young and cocky

"
Life as I See

It I know it's hard to believe,
But my mind has no limitation,
I can survive any situation,
I teach myself all I need to know,
I turn my experiences into an education,
Because I have a perfect imagination.

I see the world through different eyes,
All around the world are acts of militarization,
Armies against Armies causes mutilation
Mostly due to concepts like racism,
And words like miscegenation,
Or just maybe predation.

I live my life one day at a time,
Something like a relation,
Of a never-ending vacation,
I see one's life as a game,
The strategy is to cause felicitation,
Always be better than your opponent's expectation.

My greatest fear is that my own strengths,
May bring about my own expiration,
Or bring to another's life ruination,
My greatest strengths can be my greatest weakness,
Sometimes causing myself to go through self-absorption,
Only to come out with a clearer observation.

I really enjoyed the transition to seeming arrogant in the beginning but through self-realization and understanding, you come to see yourself in a different way.
