All Beauty Pales to my Valentine

All Beauty Pales to my Valentine

A Poem by Xander West

All Beauty Pales to my Valentine

These words are for my Valentine's sweetheart,

The words I write to express my desire in art,

To feel the entrancing arrow of Cupid's long bow,

This beautiful woman my inspirational words I owe,

To the celebration of the forgotten Lupercalia,

Awe-inspiring like gorgeous blooming azaleas,

As sweet as the nectar of enticing honeydews,

Such sweetness should forever remind me of you,

No flower in all of the world captures your beauty,

So with no choice I gift these words from within me,

No words shall truly highlight my Valentine's radiance,

So I shall eternally write to your seductive cadence,

For all desire to bask in the glory of your smile's sunshine,

For All beauty pales in comparison to my one Valentine.
