Two is Better than One

 

One thought left on my entranced mind,

One kiss I feel for the rest of my time,

One smile that is simply one of a kind,

One woman, no better shall any man find.

 

One wish to forever hold you tightly,

One perfect dream I have of you nightly,

One look and I fell for you entirely,

One moment that I thought so unlikely.

 

One chance to prove my heart is true,

One love to endlessly bestow upon you,

One rose of the deepest adoring hue,

One soul bonded evermore now as two.

 

Two ears to listen to all you have to say,

Two hands to caress you each and every day,

Two legs to lead me to you if we’re ever astray,

Two hearts forever beating as one is the only way. 

 

Two eyes forevermore adoring your beauty,

Two lovers sharing one life sincerely,

Two working to build upon one love absolutely.
