The Bend of Astronomy to your BeautyA Poem by Xander WestTaken up a challenge.....The Bend of Astronomy to your Beauty I'm drawn to your alluring beauty, It's simply captivating, absolutely, Capturing me way too damn soon, Like the Earth's gravity of the moon. How your beauty bends the laws of Astronomy, Your figure like a goddess of mythology, Bending the very laws of all light, All of it shining upon you so bright. Like the bright blue giants of Orion, I feel like the hunter chasing the lion, I'm terrified of your claws capable to bear, Yet we only leap off the cliff if we dare. You resemble the shining andromeda princess How I would sacrifice so much for a single kiss, All bowing down to the beauty of royalty, Like the stars above you reign as a dynasty. All in the universe works around you like circinus, All astronomy bending to your angelic perfectness, How I long for you as if you are my compass, The presence of you announced by sounding trumpets. Easily fulfilling the beauty of boastful Cassiopeia's claim, For even the nereids bow and exclaim, How laws of astronomy bend to your beauty, I speak of all of this for eternity, so truly © 2015 Xander WestFeatured Review
