Angel of Dark HairA Poem by Xander WestMy Angel of Dark Hair Out of the cover of night you took me by surprise, Taking my breathe, taking me to all time highs, I didn't foresee, never saw you coming my way, But now that you have, I hope you're here to stay. My angel of long dark hair, My angel of the steamy night, How you refuse to play fair, I always desire you in my sight My angel of long dark hair, swaying those enticing hips just right, How we make the perfect pair, I always desire to hold you so tight. Adoring your little horns sticking up out of your hair, How you are a treasure I could never share, Alluring me to fall under your hypnotic spell, Never like this, never have I've ever fell. My angel of long dark hair, Prancing around with such flair, Staring into my eyes with that look, I've fallen, line, sinker and hook. My angel of long dark hair, I'm trying so damn hard not to stare, As you lead my heart along this trail, Two hearts longing yet fragile and frail. My heart pounding at the mischief in your eyes, Your naughty wings taking us up among the skies, Your smiles melting the ice off my cold heart, Nothing, not even Hell could keep us apart. My angel of long dark hair, I lay it all down to bare, One day at day at a time You are taking over my mind My angel of long dark hair, How you refuse to play fair, How we make such a pair, Two hearts longing If we dare. © 2015 Xander West |
