Laying on a Beach

Laying on a Beach

A Poem by Xander West

Laying on the beach, watching the waves come crashing in,

Watching my life wasted away by unforgivable sin,

Laying on the beach, feeling the waves come crashing in,

Waiting on the tide, to bring a most wanted end,

Laying on the beach, looking up upon the crashing waves,

How one tormented soul, just isn't worth the time to save,

Laying on the beach, floating away among the rolling waves,

Pondering upon the sorrows, sorrows of a thousand endless days,

Laying on the beach, listening to waves crashing upon the shore,

Dreaming of your lovely smile, how I wish to admire just one more,

Laying on the beach, listening to waves crashing upon the shore,

It's your sweet voice, I heard whispering among the winds a-soar,

Laying on the beach, watching the never-ending crashing of waves,

How I realize I'm still in love, in love with you until the end of days,

Laying on the beach, feeling the waves come crashing in,

Waiting on the tide, to bring a most wanted end
