The Best Wine ... Today is your Day

It's one of those Rhema Words I thought I should share

In the Holy Bible, John 2 verse 10 (NIV) reads thus …“and said, ‘Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.’”

The once were great Prophets and Apostles; Moses, Elijah, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Peter, John and Paul….   But sadly, their time came and past. Today is your day.

 

The scripture says; “…YOU HAVE SAVED THE BEST WINE TILL NOW.”

You are the BEST WINE God chose to use for such a time as this. It does not

matter where you have been placed, but embrace that you are the BEST WINE God wanted to use at that place at this time.  The situations laid before you, you are the BEST WINE which had been saved until now to resolve them (Ephesians 3v20). Elijah wouldn’t have been able for such times, that’s why God reserved you for such a time.

 

Do not be intimidated, by the tasks set before you… you are the BEST WINE to work them through. Never be intimidated by people’s experience, their qualifications or their connections. The God you serve is the same God who qualifies the unqualified, the same God who was there before all things (John1v3), He is the same God who favors all His people (Proverbs8v35). He is the most experienced and most connected of all.

 

There were more influential leaders and more eloquent speakers than Moses during his time, but because Moses was the BEST WINE for his time, God used him. (Exodus 3&4).

It does not matter how many people are ‘better’ than you, what matters is that God chose and trusted it to be you the BEST WINE for this generation. Do him proud.
