God says.... What do you say? ... What do you believe?

....sharing a revelation

Genesis 37

God came to Joseph in a dream and told Him he(Joseph) would be superior to his brothers. Mind you, Joseph was youngest and least favorite amongst his brothers, but He chose to believe the Word from the Lord...

*There is power in believing in the WORD (Luke 1 v 45) ............................................. Do you believe what the Lord has said about your own life, even when you seem the least in the crowd and least favored?

Note this, God did not tell Joseph that before his dream could come to a reality; he would be threatened with death, thrown into a pit, sold to Ishmaelites, work as Potiphar's slave, or falsely accused of rape and be jailed...

My question today is; If Joseph knew all this would he have been as enthusiastic about the dream, would he have cherished the idea of being head over his elder brothers?

.... to you now, I don't know what word you have heard the Lord speak over your own life, I don't know what you believe in God for,... if God were to tell you about the mountains,valleys tribulations, the tests, the Goliaths (1 Samuel 17), the wilderness, the Jezebel's (1 Kings 19), the Egyptians (Exodus 14) ...that you have to face before you live your dream, before you live life at the top.... would you still believe in HIS word, would you look forward to the "promise land".?

Summary

If you are a Joseph, know that the are some accusers standing in your way before you become Prime Minister, if you are David, know that the are some bears,lions and Goliath that you have to fight before you are anointed king.....

God has good plans for all His children (Jeremiah 29 v 11) .. that does not mean the are no challenges in the way, in fact being a Christian does not mean life will have no challenges, but it means you will have the strength to overcome (Isaiah 40 v 31).

Whatever God has spoken over your life is your key to all doors, do not throw away those words, keep on believing and open those doors, have a vision.
