Peaceful Loss

Peaceful Loss

A Poem by Vivi

Dry these eyes, don't let them cry.

I am not gone, I did not die.

I'm not in a grave, nor do I hide.

I've merely gotten lost, along the tide.

I won't be found, but I'll find my way.

Back to my dreams, wherever they lay.

Do not cry, do not be mad.

Though I am lost, I am not sad.

This was quite beautiful. I like how every line sort of had two parts to it; It sort of caused me to slow down as I was reading the first part since it didn't rhyme. (I don't think I explained that quite like I wanted to, but I did like it).
