That a god rejected

That a god rejected

A Poem by Eric Zavala

I spent my days counting each hour
Listening to the voices in my head
Not letting them have the power
That's why the bodies lay dead

That's why the bodies sleep on the floor
Cause I'm hidden behind padded Walls and a door
A creation that a god rejected
A monster that the devil perfected

They say I'm insane
Giving me colourful pills
F*****g with my brain
All my thoughts are in the drain

That's why the bodies sleep on the floor
Cause I'm hidden behind padded Walls and a door
A creation that a god rejected
A monster that the devil perfected

Give me the gun
Give me the knife
Let me end my life
Hidden from the sun
Hidden far away
Demented thoughts want to play!

That's why the bodies sleep on the floor
Cause I'm hidden behind padded Walls and a door
A creation that a god rejected
A monster that the devil perfected
