A Dream About a Song That Doesn't Exist

A Poem by Austin Wade Runyon

A Dream About a Song That Doesn't Exist
by Sundrowner (Austin Runyon)

Like a dream about a song that doesn't exist
A starlet singing whisps into the wind
Withered within-clasp at the chest
Claps the collapsed lung, the end
I felt the light of life leaving
Never to be captured again
And the darkness will be the only one to ever know you
Including yourself
