Tundrawolf Musings

Tundrawolf Musings

A Poem by Austin Wade Runyon
"

Abstract icy musings of a tundrawolf with winter depression

"
Tundrawolf Musings
by Sundrowner (Austin Runyon)

Born strangled by winter solstice
Icepick nails dance up and down my spine
Chewing on a soot snake charred black by subzero degrees
Slow my ashes coil in the cold
Like frost spiders death bitten
Cast a shadow like the claw of a crow
A silhouette frozen by the light of my flashlight eyes
Encased in ice time perpetually
Steel yourself to the lashings of the wind
The heat will kill my moulded soul
And from that corpse only death may grow
