The Girl In A Fictional World
She lives in a decade from 20 years ago.
Still dreams she's the star of a broadway ballet show.
I wonder if she'll ever wake up to reality.
And realize the world isn't all that it seems to be.
She writes her own scripts and she acts like a movie star.
I wonder if she'll really make it that far.

I think she's down and out really in her mind
But she's keeping it hidden all inside this time.
She dances and she sings. She's no ordinary girl.
I think that she's living in a fictional world.

If she's lying about her success then I don't care.
Because she inspires to be all that is out there.
No matter what she's doing she makes it worth while.
She sings and she dances and makes up her own style.
Climbs up on the sofa and pretends its her stage.
She'll be a superstar no matter what her age.

Because she'll be looking down at them from the top of a tower.
She locked all her worries and cares away.
Maybe she'll teach me how to do that someday.

I can relate to this as it sounds like me... I am carefree like to sing, dance and even when I get down will find something to bring myself up on that day! However I do not lie about my success.. I am only rich where it matters ... with the people I love around me... other than that I am poor and hardworking.. it don't bother me though as I am a dreamer and dream big dreams cause it's free that will most likely never come true.. but then who cares??? I don't hurt no one.. I try to inspire when I can! thank you for sharing!!!
