The Oak Tree

The Oak Tree

A Poem by xXxAxDisastrousxScenexXx

The oak tree stands tall and firm in the ground,
The animals within it don't make a sound,
the roots are deep and strong,
the oak tree is friendly,it can do no wrong,

The leaves keep it cool when the sun is hot,
They keep the ground fresh and stop the rot,
It will sway in the wind and yet never fall,

The oak tree will last for a thousand years,
With no sign f pain,No hurt or fear,
But inside us this very tree grows,
And with the strength that it brings,
through our veins the love flows,

Lovely imagery...
The oak tree can be just that - an oak tree, and then can be so many other things.
Can't wait to read more from you. You're a great writer!
