Disturbia

Just a weird thing I did...yeah...

 

Darkness falls calmly over every part of my body

As a dark realization goes through my mind.

My limbs go numb as I face the truth.

I’m going to die. Right here. Right now.

The chains constrict my wrists painfully as I twist to get away.

I begin to hear sounds that aren’t there.

Madness claws at the edges of my mind.

Echoes of gruesome deaths before me begin to announce themselves.

Ghosts walk past,

Spiders hang crookedly from their webs.

To think yesterday that I believed the man in the home beside me was harmless.

Blood drains from the deep cuts in my body as I scream involuntarily.

Already the pain starts to close my eyes and destroy my mind and heart.

Last two beats of my heart, gone.

My screams stop and everything is silent.

It’s over… and the pain is gone.

Finally…
