                        *Romeos pov.*

                              Come here rosalin I shouted my laughter echoing off the walls of my currently empty estate. Come find me she giggled back her voice coming from down the hall it was so easy to lose her in this tangle of halls and rooms. I started down the hall eager to find what I new would be waiting for me. “Over here romeo” she called jumping out in front of me in the silk night gown she loved to prance around the house in when no one was home. It cascaded down her body and over her feet regardless of the length the fitting form left nothing to the imagination. You dare to tease me I chuckled under my breath twirling one of her long blonde curls around my finger and you dare to delay your kiss even longer she replied planting her soft lips against mine.

                         Whoa there love birds were home mark called out looking at us with his eyebrow raised. Rosalin rolled her eyes and padded back to her room not wishing to be caught by her mother dressed so scandalous . Was anyone hurt I asked mark walking down the hall in the direction of our rooms nervousness rising in my stomach. No brother he replied rolling his eyes at me if you would just come out and fight with us one day you might see that those damned vampires have nothing on us. Im sure they think the same of you I smirked heading for the door of my room Well they think wrong he snapped slamming his door. Why must all my brothers cousins and friends be such barbarians I sighed collapsing on my bed.

                                            *Juliet’s pov.*

                                 JULIET …JUUUULIET! My mother called annoyance in her voice at being ignored. What mother I called from my room hating the way she treated me like a child when I was nearly 17. There you are she sighed breathing heavily what do you want to wear to your birthday party tomorrow night. Ill decide on my own mom I snapped annoyed with her constant pestering over this party. She couldn’t care less what I thought of it the party was just another chance to show of her and my fathers money.
Fine she replied heading for the door but I’m telling you now it’s a masquerade party and had better dress appropriately. I HATE THIS! I screamed into my pillow feeling like I
might cry.

                         Now Juliet my house made and the women I actually thought of as my mother said stepping from her hiding spot in my bathroom. There’s no need to dispute the party before you even give it a chance it could be great fun. Do you always have to ease drop on me I laughed throwing my pillow at her. YES! I do actually I’m your guardian now get of your bum and come help me pick out something for you to wear she said in her British accent. But its nearly ten o clock I whined cant it wait until morning. An then if I let you wait until morning you’ll be saying cant it wait till afternoon now come pick or ill pick for you she smirked. Fine I said hurrying to find a dress I loved her but she didn’t exactly have the best fashion sense. This one I said picking up a strapless white dress that sparkled in the light. It held tight to my lean form and then poofed out at my waist all the way to the floor. Aww you look like Cinderella she coed at me and this is something I picked up for you she said holding up the most beautiful white mask id ever seen. Oh its beautiful I cried out scooping her up in a hug and then trying it on. It stopped just below my eyes the may most do and it shone with stones and sequins just like my dress on either side of my face a single white feather hung resting against my cheeks and one diamond rested on the bridge of the nose right between the eyes.
