The Guy I Once Knew

Where's the guy I once knew?

The person who stayed

and laughed at all thats blue?

 

Where is he?

I can't find him underneath

and I can't even see.

 

Why is it all blurry?

He's stuffed with lies and ignorance.

I think I should leave him be.

 

Why? I don't understand at all.

Why did he fall?

He didn't need to have it all.

 

The guy I once knew is long gone.

He's in the shadows and singing his sad song.
