Life is what we make of it,

it's better not to fake it.

 

Life is lessons hidden in between the lines,

to figure out how we become so blind.

 

Life is experiences of love, kindness, and empathy,

not the negatives of hatred, selfishness, and apathy.

 

Life is what we need it to be,

not what we want it to be.

 

Life should be alluring, gentle, and loving,

not spending ten years of loathing.

 

Life is forgiveness and a second chance,

more like a straight line, not one that slants.
