New Year Resolution Prayer

A new year resolution that I want to make,

is for all these people and their sake.

 

Clean our earth and serve others well,

stab out the hatred and don't live in your own shell.

 

Live another poor soul's life and  understand how they are,

believe in others' talents and wish upon a shooting star.

 

Love another to show how the world should be,

give advice that people do want to see.

 

This resolution is what we need,

A plant grows in soil by dropping a precious seed.

 

Lord, all we need is incredible faith,

Please, Jesus, keep everyone I know safe.

 

I know we can do this and learn from our mistakes,

Bless our loving, safe home, our world and The United States.

It's quite beautiful.... I'm sure the priests of the medieval ages would smile at your creativity.

Just a couple things, however, to make it just a tiny bit better. I would remove 'healthy' from the sixth line, to improve the flow... and not limit it to simply the US. I do love the last two lines despite it.
