What is a friend

This isn't really a poem more like an uplifting short explanation

Friends are people that will stand by you through good, bad, and crazy times. They will remain loyal to you as you are to them, they put up with your insanity or lack thereof. They make you laugh when you want to cry, when everyone else is laughing at you friends will laugh with you they will also cry with you. Friends are people who you trust, who you would take a bullet for and them likewise. They are on your side when all odds are against you, they make you feel special when you feel worthless. You can trust them and they will trust you, friends are people who protect each other. Sometimes you need to look out for them, they may not appreciate your help at the time but they know you love them. You get into trouble together and out of it together. They randomly show up at your house and eat your food, but you don't complain because you know that you do the same thing. Friends are people you call family, you may not always like them but you will never ever stop loving them. Friends stay together, and believe it or not you always have one person to call your friend.
