black heart

black heart

A Poem by Ghost Writer

I was addicted to darkness,
until I found you.
My darkness in light its self.
I am supposed to remove toxic people from my life,
but how could I remove you my love?
I couldn't.
Not even if I tried,
believe me love I have.
I have been told you love me,
could it be true?
I most certainly love you,
how could I not?
But that's just me do you love you?
Do you love me the way people say you do?
I wish to hear you say those three small words.
Yes they have a lot of meaning,
but I've said them to you.
 Maybe I was wrong,
you don't love me.
I hate to love you,
but I love to hate you.
 When I gaze at you,
you no longer think it romantic.
You avoid me around your friends and mine,
I feel I am losing you.
I wish to know if you don't love me.
Don't worry I can handle rejection,
in fact I'm used to it.

  So tell me love,
do you love me.

I would love to hear what you think. It's not the best but I put a lot of thought into it.

I think the words could be organized more.. but hey! The piece is perfect for me! I love the thought of this poem. It's so sad, but I can relate. The pain in this poem is somewhat familiar. Thanks for sharing!
