The End

The End

A Poem by Ameli
"

Someone who has given up all hope and resorts to something like this...it makes me want to cry

"

I guess I should apologize,

For treating you this way

But there's nothing to say sorry for,

Nothing left to say.

I should say goodbye

But everyone already left

They disappeared so suddenly

Now it's only myself.

I should find another way

But this is a dead end road

The shining, gleaming silver

Tells me I'll never be alone.

So I guess my story is over now

Did it ever truly begin?

This whole time silver was

My one and only friend.

Silver likes it on my chest

Right above my heart,

It whispers to me softly

That for now we must part.

Now instead of silver

I see a brilliant crimson red

Then everything fades to black

This part I know the best,

This is my "The end".

It's a rather beautiful poem. A little masochistic and depressalling for my taste, but beautiful nonetheless.
