Find Me

The ever familiar solitude that I really hate to feel

Hiding inside herself,

The girl who's always alone.

Scared and sad because of those

Who fed her poison lies.

She moves within the sidelines

Invisible to all.

"Find me", she pleads.

But nobody ever listens,

No one ever hears.

The sorrow in her eyes,

The lonliness in her heart.

She longs for the one who

Will save her from the dark.

"Find me", she cries.

But the ones who choose to hear her plea,

Raise up all her hopes,

Stay only to kick her down,

Shatter her dreams.

Alone again it seems.

"Find me...", she whispers,

She's already given up.

Now she no longer whispers,

Never makes a sound.

Upon her face is a mask of stone,

A mask to match her heart.
