Mistakes

Mistake after mistake,

I cannot avoid,

I ask for forgiveness,

Until you seem annoyed.

 

I know that our time together,

Has had its ups and its downs,

But I beg you, Please,

Let me turn it around.

 

I have taken you for granted,

I have hurt and ignored you,

I know I have waited too long,

But let me show you my feelings true.

 

I want to fight for you,

Right till the end.

No matter what I have to sacrifice,

Our bond, I will mend.

 

It is because I Love You,

That I feel so bad.

The thought of you leaving,

Makes me uncontrollably sad.

 

So please,

Just give me this one chance.

To make you happy again,

And return you to Love’s trance.
