Dream of Me

Dream of Me

A Poem by Tori
"

Less than Three <3

"

When the eyes of your demons

keep your soul awake,

and you find yourself dying

with every breath you take,

When your ups

 take you down

And you Just can't get out,

When you've fallen hard

and don't know who to be,

Close your eyes,

Just one more time,

And often dream of me,

Promise that tomorrow

won't keep you from today,

Despite all the lies

I'll believe the words you say.

When your burdens become

too much to bare alone,

Know that there's a place

of sweet eascape to call your own.

When the World is just oo blind to see,

Close your eyes,

Just one more time,

Say you'll dream of me,

A world of wonders that awaits

beyond your concious mind,

A place of love and burning hell

that just can't find it's rhyme.

When you've reached your breaking point,

and don't know who to be,

Close your eyes,

Just one more time,

I know you'll dream of me.

But when that's not enough

And you just don't know what to do,

Keep in mind,

That on this Night,

I'm dreaming of you too.

WoW

I do dream of you
And the words on this page
They hit me like whiskey,
And tease me like wine
Bitter and sweet
And so damn fine

Truly amazing girl

this was such a comforting read--good job

A classically tailored piece that sparks sorrow, lust and darkness within the wording, well done, good read.
