A Poem by Tori
"

-.- Shmag.

"

My lips are numb from praying,

My hands are sore from taking,

I'll steal your faith to build my own,

I'm going far, but not alone.

I'll carry your burdens upon my shoulders,

But only to make myself look nobler.

You live hard on your beliefs,

That simple hope is what feeds me strength.

Unorignal, depending upon your very breath,

Shameful, a humilation to the family crest.

I'll stand behind you and watch you rise,

I'd love to see the world through your eyes.

I'm watching you talk to them,

wishing I knew how to be a friend.

Instead, I think, I'll steal you your life,

I'll fake the God you are inside.

The taste of recgonition, God know's there's nothing sweeter,

I've always been the one to follow, never once a leader.

One day I'll be on top, showered by my fame,

Everyone will bow to me, yet no one will know your name.

Though I'll be invincible, There's still something I must do,

I won't make it all the way....at least...not without you.
