Paper Monsters

Paper Monsters

A Poem by Tori
"

idk. From a dream I had about paper dolls that fly like birds and kill you.

"
Paper monsters raining from the sky,
Paper-thin cuts pouring crimson lies,
Gathering in a blackened cloud,
Their lust for terror comes raining down.
White strips burning against the flesh,
You fight to live but they'll never rest.
Paper blades showering the light,
Beasts of hell that stalk the night.
Paper monsters surrendering to death,
flammable hopes burning what was left.
Clawing and biting at the face of man,
A burden one will never understand.

The Paper monster's in my mind,
They call me towards the end of time.
They break my spirit break my chains,
Their paper poison melts my veins.
They kill my trust, invade my dreams,
The Paper monster's drain everything.
They find me in the darkest hour,
Bleed my dry with their undying shower.
Strip my tears and strip my faith,
They leave me nothing but their hate.
Rip my heart and watch it bleed,
The Paper monster's are after me.
