Death's Embrace

Death's Embrace

A Poem by Tori
"

Idk...haha wrote this in the middle of Best Buy's

"

Crystal tears fade into the dark,

endless hell on my dying heart,

Try so hard to fight the odds,

yet Forever will we fall,

Never to rise again,

buried in the night,

drowned out by our sin.

Kiss your velvet touch goodbye,

but always stay high on my mind.

Burn flowers in the fire,

fight against this desire,

Lost in the wastelands,

a paper heart guiding me through,

with my dying breath,

I'll find my way back to you.

Music of the fallen,

echos through the air,

They stand beside you, pulling you down,

yet you never know they're there.

Memories of doubt and pain linger on your mind,

little do you know you're always on mine.

New fears grow within your emerald stare,

broken tears strip you bare.

Hold the air, wish it was me,

there's another part of my soul

that you'll never see.

Black bouquets hanging from the skies,

question appear in your deadly eyes,

A dark veil hides your lovely face,

Let us await Death's embrace.
