Is it really you?

Could you be the one?

I know I've tried so hard before,

But it all seems to come undone.

But yet, you attract me,

you draw me in in such a way,

perhaps it's all too fast,

but I just can't stay away.

Maybe it's too soon,

perhaps it's all pretend. 

But if that's true then I wish,

the lies you tell me will never end.

I beg for your attention,

I strive for your love,

Though I should turn back,

I just can't have enough. 

I do not know your voice,

nor do I know your face,

but somehow yet I know,

that I desire your embrace. 

You've told me what I mean,

But I can't quite understand.

Why you do not know me,

but you want to be my man.

What  alternatives are there?

What is it that you want?

surely your reason for lust,

isn't something one would daunt.  

If your words are more than so,

then praise the God who surrendered you,

But still if your proposals are false,

I can't deny the  awful truth.

Deep inside I know,

there's something so unsure.

A passion so precarious,

It's so simple to think it pure.

My heart yearns for you,

though my hands touch air,

I still close my eyes and fantasize,

about you if you were there. 

It's impossible to deny,

even though I don't want it to be true. 

I can't run away from the crying voice,

the one that assures me that I love you.

a very deep write ... lots of different emotions surround this piece but in the end they come together nicely and make a very strong write..nice job!!!
