Love Has No Winners

Love Has No Winners

A Poem by Tori
"

Who said there was ever a "checkmate" in love?

"

Love isn't fair,

but who said it had to be?

Love is so deciveing,

but who said it only belonged to me?

Love is so treacherous,

but who said it wasn't steep?

Love is so shallow,

but who said it would be deep?

Love is just a lie,

but who said it was the truth?

Love is so overused,

but who said it was just for youth?

Love is so evolving,

but who said it would stay the same?

Love is such hard work,

but who said it was all fun and games?

Love is so confusing,

but who said it had to make sense?

Love is so lonley,

but who ever said it would be dense?

Love is such a cruel game,

One not meant for a beginner.

Love is such a painful game,

One without a winner.
