Looking Glass

Looking Glass

A Poem by Tori
"

Looking back from the looking glass, There is a mystery that no one can solve.

"

Lookin through the looking glass,

becoming overwhelmed by my past.

The pain that follows every look,

continuing to stare after being shook.

Each glace takes me further into darkness,

and begins to drag me under.

I try hard to scream,

but my voice is drowned out by the thunder.

Each peek,

only brings me down,

My spirits lie,

beneath te ground.

Feeling lost through every look,

My heart is tryin to be taken,

but you cannot steal

what has been took.

Looking through the looking glass,

Becoming the monster from my past.

I liked this one, too. I don't normally read, or write, a lot of rhyming poems, but this was good, very well done, Tori!

It is often difficult for us to face ourselves. You show that well. I think you might find my piece "The Man That Ruined My Life" interesting. Kudos to you.

wow intense. It brings to mind so many things I don't try to remember with that last line. It makes you look at your past and where it has led and is leading. Makes you want to fix your direction. Well done!
