In My Mind

It's all in my head, just imagination, But to much thought and I'll be dead.

So much pain welled inside,

all this hurt,

is hard to hide.

I run and scream,

there's no way out,

my heart is weak,

and full of doubt.

Bloody tears,

roll down my face,

this feeling of pain,

this feeling of disgrace.

Trust and Love,

an old merchants tale,

nothing but lies,

ones I know too well.

Darkness consumin me,

as I run for my life,

Trying to break free,

from all this strife.

The war that's raging,

in my mind,

I cannot stop it,

not this time.

This emptiness,

It kills me,

it wants me dead.

I'm fighting a battle,

that's only in my head.

The voices that destroy,

are ones I cannot find,

I'm losing a war,

that's only in my mind.

This piece just flows round and round and flows down the page, especially at the end. Gives a wonderful portrait of people on the edge (in the mind, of course)
