Criss is reunited with her nrother...finally. But just why is Tristen here? Criss doesn't really care, she's just glad that he his. After beign told that the neighbors have no children for Aydean to befriend, and being confined to his room forever, Aydea

"

It is hard to describe the way I felt the moment I first ever laid my eyes on her. Her beautiful hair was blowing back in the wind, her eyes were dancing, she had a smile that could light up this whole world. Even though it took awhile to realize it, I knew I was in love with this girl.

Aydean's POV.......

I awoke to the roaring and grinding of gears. The loud vrooming noise had caught my attention. I yawned as I slowly sat up. Rubbing my eyes, I walked over to the window(I still hadn't put the dresser back in place.) My eyes widened the moment I saw three four-wheelers shoot out from behind the neighbor's house. The green one was in the front of the formation, obviously faster than the other two-which were both red. The second red broke the formation by taking a right, entering a trail that led into the woods. The green one continued forward, riding across a small ledge with a deep ditch on either side. The last red one was obviously confused. The rider was jerking his head from side to side, not sure where to go. Suddenly, the one that had run through the forest burst out in front of the green one. The rider on the green four-wheeler shouted something and gave the red one the bird. I couldn't help but laugh. This guy obviously had anger problems. They each continued to ride about, jumping small hills and taking sharp turns. At one point, the green one was flying across the ledge again, and when he came to make a turn, he slammed on the brakes. This made the four-wheeler tilt, two of the wheels coming off the ground. As soon as the machine was back on all fours, the rider took of again.

Finally, after what seemed like hours of riding, the riders of the two red four-wheelers stopped atop of a large hill, side by side. They both switched off their engines and pulled off their helmets. One of the dudes was blonde, with shaggy hair and tan skin. The other had medium length brown hair with a pale complextion. The blonde guy nudged the dark haired one and pointed to something. They both grinned and looked. I followed their gazes. The guy on the green four-wheeler was stopped at the very end of the ledge. He stayed still for a moment. Then, without warning, he pressed the gas and took of flying across the ledge. If I hadn't known any better, I'd have guessed he was going at least 80 miles per hour. The driver jerked back the handlebars as he hit a small hill. I didn't think much was going to happen, but I was wrong. They four-wheeler-and driver-began soaring through the air. An estimated guess would say he saw at least seven or eight feet in the air. And, as if that wasn't enough, he actually stood up and standed on the seat for two seconds. Right before coming in contact with the ground, he sat back down and reagined control of the airborne vehicle. The four-wheeler smacked against the ground and began sliding across the grass. The guy had had complete control over the ATV the entire time. I closed my mouth-which I had come to relaize had been agape during the crazy stunt- and pressed my face against the glass.

That was amazing, no. It was incredible!  I beamed inside my head. I watched the guy ride up to join his friends. The motor cut and he jumped down and began high-fiving his friends. The guy peeled off his silver and black helmet. He was wearing a camoflauge baseball cap underneath. The blonde guy ran up and hugged him. He must have been the crazy stunt guy's older brother. He couldn't be too much older. They all looked about my age. Then something hit me. My parents had lied. These people....they did have kids. Three boys, my age. Three friends....disapointment shot through me. They had beaten me and hurt me, but even though...I should have saw it coming! I knew it was stupid to think this way, but I didn't expect them to ever lie to me.

Of course, that wasn't my only surprise that day.

They stunt and the dark-haired guy opened their arms to hug, but automaticlly stoped. They both scratched the back of their necks and gripped their arms nervously. What's wrong with them? I thought. They're brothers!! The stunt guy stepped back and wiped off his forehead. Then, he pulled off his cap. Long, thick, dark-brown hair spilled out and rolled down his back. Wow. What a hippie! But then, he pulled off his baggy t-shirt. He was wearing a tank top underneath it. I felt my mouth fall open again. This "guy" had two bumps on his chest. As it turned out, the so called "stunt guy" was actually a "stunt girl" I didn't understand. There was no way a girl could have performed such an amazing feat. Was there? I watched in shock as the three guys-umm. Excuse me...the TWO guys and the ONE girl road back, disappearing behind the small double wide trailer. I slumped down against  the wall. Not only had the impossible been proven possible, but my parents had actually lied to me. At the moment, their betrayl hurt more than the previous beatings. It was the most painful thing that had opened to me since I had arrived (other than Kriss's death.) Of course, this pain would soon feel as nothing compared as to what was soon to happen.

Criss's POV.........

"Criss! That was absolutley amazing, incredible, spectacular..."

"And freakin awesome!" Kodi fnished.

He and Tristen had been freaking over my earlier jump on the small hill for at least two hours straight.

"Awwww. That was nothin!" I said, taking another swig of my coke. I wiped my motuh with the back of my hand. "You should have seen the time I jumped the bigger hill! I swear I rode at least twenty feet on my two front wheels! I got in trobule afterwards for goin' to fast! Scarred the s**t of Momma and Dad!" I grinned, recalling the memory.

"Of course, after the chewin' she got, I gave her the praise she deserved!" Kodi said, nudging Tristen in the arm. Tristen looked at me, asking what it was I had recievied with his eyes.

I grinned even wider. "Fifty bucks and a trip to the bookstore!" I bragged, pumping my fist into the air.

Tristen gave me the weirdest look. Kodi only rolled his eyes and said, "She loves books."

"Oh," Tristen said, nodding his head. "II thought I was going to have to smack you for punishing her instead of praising. But, I guess it's all good." He smiled at me. My heart rate began increasing. His smile was crazy hot.

I sighed and thought about our earlier encounter. I can't believe it!! He was just about to hug me! I squealed inside my head. I turned my attention back to the TV in time to see Wolverine stab Mystic in the gut with his claws, causing her to colapse and shift into her normal form. We were all sprawled across the floor in Kodi's room, watching X-Men:Evolution on DVD. X-men was definetly my favorite movie. Of course, my favorite character was Nightcrawler.

I had become engrossed in the movie, so it took me a moment to relaize Tristen had asked me a question. "I'm sorry, What'd ya say?" I asked, keeping my ears open to him but my eyes on the TV screen.

"Have you ever wrecked before?" he asked, seeming intrested in my stunts.

"Uh...Yeah. Once. About three years ago," I answered, my mind still dead set on watching countless helpers of Magneto-the bad mutant- getting blown to bits by Cyclops, and being smashed against a wall by Jean Grey's telecanesis.

"What happened?" he asked, paying no attention to the movie.

"Huh? Oh. I lost control and flipped over. I was goign to fast and ended up flipping over a tree stump. The four-wheeler threw me off, and then did a complete 360 flip in the air and landed n top of me." I said this as if it was nothing.

"Oh yeah!" Kodi said, joining in the converstaion. "I rememeber that! You had a HUGE gash in your forehead, and a piece of skin on your arms was sooooo loose, that you could actually pull it back and look inside!" He began grinning. "It was so freakin sweet!!"

"I know, right!? All the blood! God it hurt!" I smiled. We both began describing the details of my horrid crash in fascantion. Each time one of us mentioned all the blood, we began laughing hysterically. After we were done, I noticed it was quite. I looked over at Tristen. His mouth was wide open and a mask of horror had taken over his face.

"Tristen, what's wrong?" I asked, genuinley confused.

He looked at me as if I was the stupidest person alive. "What's wrong? WHAT'S WRONG!? You just described one of the most gruesome things I've ever heard happen to a person, and you're laughing about it! Did you have to have stitches?" he asked, becoming frantic.

I couldn't help but smile. "Nope. I went inside, and Momma cleaned it off with some peroxide, Neosporin, and a bunch of band-aids. It took about two months to heal, but It finally went away! I still have a scar on my arm though." I pulled up my sleeve and showed him the big white scar that run all the way up the back of my arm.

"You. Are. Such. A. Freak. girl, do you even feel pain?" he asked. It took me a second to realize he was serious.

"Barely. I have a very, very high tolernece to pain. The craziest of stuff won't make me cry. I might wince, but I've never cried over an injury. During the accident, I just kept taking deep breathes and biting on a towel. No big deal. Heck, kids at school have been asking me for years 'Do you feel pain?' or they'll say somethin' like 'Oh yeah, except for Criss! She don't feel pain!' It's pretty crazy, actually. I do feel pain, it just doesn't bother me as bad as most people." I turned my attention back to the movie. Of course, I could feel Tristen's eyes on my the whole time.
