Chapter One - The Start

"Get away from me!" Noah screamed, as he shuffled back from the slobbering mouth of his maths teacher. He kicked him in the face, just managed to get up, and ran out of the door, along with a few other kids. This is all how it started. Noah was sat in maths, chatting away to his best mate, Kai, when suddenly Mr. Sivan changed, along with three other of his classmates. First, they blanked out, then they started to shake, their skin went pale, and their eyes turned grey. Lastly? They went for the other kids, clawed, bit, scratched. They didn't all make it out. And if they were bitten, they became one of them..

Noah was running, in the middle of two kids, Kai and a girl named Jessica. Kai was a tall boy, always picked first for the team in sports, always picked first by the girls. He had a perfect jawline, and dark brown hair. Jessica was a average height girl, with beautiful long hair dangling on her shoulders, she was quite smart, and very popular. One of Noah's friends. They were running at the back, barley able to breath. Stitches threatening to stop them. A kid just behind them tripped and screamed. They didn't have to look behind them to know what happened to him.  "We-have-to-keep-running!" Jessica managed to get out. The things half running, half falling behind them, blood or slobber dripping from their mouths.

They reached the school gates, the things now far behind them. The kids had all stopped, Noah, Kai and Jess pushed to the front. "Why the flip have we stopped?!" Kai almost shouted to the kid at the front. "The gated are locked!" The poor kid said back, his voice trembling. "We have to climb over, its the only way.." Noah spoke up loudly, so the kids could all hear him. Noah and Kai gave Jess a boost up first, then helping others. "Slow down! You'll all get ov-" Kai was cut of by a scream, turning his head, Noah saw them coming. There must of been about 50 of them, all running towards the crowd of kids.

After reading it I've noticed i put Gated instead of Gates. Oops..
